Auto-reload and usage limits
Auto-reload buys credits before you run out, and a usage limit caps what the workspace spends in a week or a month. Workspace admins find both in Usage & billing → Overview → Spending controls.
Auto-reload
When your balance falls below the threshold, HeyDeer buys a fixed amount of add-on credits. Both amounts are whole US dollars of credit value.

Each reload is one add-on purchase with your plan’s volume discount, listed as Auto-reload in Payments. If your balance is already below the threshold, the dialog shows the charge and turning auto-reload on buys right away.
Auto-reload needs an active plan and charges only the subscription card you agreed to. If that card changes, select Edit to agree to the new one.
Auto-reload and credits you buy yourself share a rolling 24-hour purchase limit. At the limit, auto-reload pauses, HeyDeer emails the workspace, and the same purchase is tried again when there is room.
When a reload fails
If a reload fails or can’t be confirmed, auto-reload turns off, Spending controls shows why, and HeyDeer emails the workspace. Update the card in the billing portal or choose a plan, then turn it on again. If the reload couldn’t be confirmed, or payments are paused for the workspace, contact support first.
Usage limit
A usage limit caps the credits the workspace uses in a calendar week or month, on any plan including the trial. Set a whole number of credits from 100 to 100,000,000.

When the limit is reached
Spending controls shows Limit reached, and new reviews don’t start until the limit resets or is raised. HeyDeer says so where the review was requested. Running reviews finish, so a period can end slightly over.
A refused request doesn’t restart; request a new review.
Keep costs predictable
Keep Default review depth at Standard, use Once per PR or a lower Maximum automatic reviews per PR, and skip pull requests with Automatic review filters. Usage & billing → Usage shows where credits go.
