Plans and add-on credits
Every plan includes unlimited developers and repositories, all review depths, and repository checks. Plans differ in monthly credits and parallel reviews; prices and discounts are on the pricing page. Workspace admins choose a plan in Usage & billing → Overview.
Free trial
A new workspace gets a 14-day trial with 1,200 credits and runs up to 2 reviews at a time. It starts with the first successful review and needs no card. A repository can have a trial in only one workspace.
When the trial ends or its credits run out, new reviews wait for a plan. If you choose a plan during the trial, you keep the unused trial credits and get extra credits for the trial time left; both last 12 months from payment.
Add-on credits
On an active plan, buy $20 to $100 of credits at a time in Usage & billing → Overview → Add credits. HeyDeer charges your subscription’s card, or opens Stripe Checkout. Larger purchases get a volume discount, and purchases share a rolling 24-hour limit with auto-reload.
Add-on credits carry over between periods and don’t add parallel reviews. To buy them automatically, turn on auto-reload.
Expiry and spending order

HeyDeer spends the credits that expire soonest first.
Changing plans and renewals
- Upgrades, from Change plan in Usage & billing → Overview, apply when you pay. You pay the difference for the rest of the period, get a matching share of the extra credits, and keep your renewal date.
- Downgrades apply at the next renewal. To cancel one, choose Keep current plan in Change plan.
- While a renewal payment is pending, the plan stays active for up to 3 days and can’t be changed. If the payment fails or your bank asks you to confirm it, HeyDeer emails the workspace; select Complete payment in Overview. If it’s still unpaid after that, the plan stops; add-on credits stay usable, up to 2 reviews at a time.
- To cancel, open the Billing portal. The plan stays until the end of the paid period, with no refund, and you can select Resume subscription before then.
Payments and invoices
Usage & billing → Payments lists every payment with its invoice or receipt. Change invoice details with Edit billing details, and your card in the Billing portal. HeyDeer doesn’t charge sales tax or VAT yet.
