Notifications
HeyDeer sends service emails to one shared address per workspace: trial, credit, and payment reminders, and a note when a GitHub owner approves your installation.
Workspace notification email
Admins set the address in Organization settings → Notifications; a team address works well. It starts as the setup person’s verified GitHub email and doesn’t subscribe anyone to marketing emails.
To change it, enter the address, select Send verification code, then enter the 8-digit code and select Verify and save.
To use your verified primary GitHub email without a code, select Use my GitHub email for reminders. If HeyDeer can’t read it, select Reauthorize GitHub and allow email access.

Notices on pull requests
When an automatic review can’t start for a billing reason, such as no credits or a reached usage limit, HeyDeer posts one HeyDeer couldn’t start this review comment on the pull request. The review doesn’t restart on its own; request a new one once credits are available. The HeyDeer Review check shows the reason too.
